Salvation
Salvation
The plan of salvation that God has given us is a simple process that He has outlined in His Word. Acceptance that Jesus Christ died for your sins is as simple as believing in your heart and confessing with your mouth that you accept Him as your personal Lord and Savior. We have provided some information and scriptures below to guide you in the process of accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of your life. Once you have accepted Jesus Christ into your life, you have become a son of God and you need to get to know your heavenly Father. God knows all about you, but you need to know Him in an intimate and personal way. One way to do this is through prayer. Prayer is just talking with God. Start with 5 or 10 minutes each day. Make prayer a part of your life; for example, ask God to bless your food. Another thing you must do to get to know God is to have daily Bible study and meditations. Set aside a specific time each day to read your Bible. Start with the New Testament; read as much as you are personally able to grasp. For some it may be one verse; or it may be one chapter, depending on the person. Now that you are born again, it is important for you to join a Bible-believing, Bible-teaching church. It is the Word of God that will keep you steadfast in your walk with Him. God’s Word says that faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. Here at LWCOH, we offer several activities that will help you to grow as a Christian. You do not have to be a member of LWCOH to take advantage of the Sunday Morning Prayer Services, Sunday Morning Empowerment School, Sunday Worship Services, and Wednesday Prayer and Pastoral Teachings. If you have any questions about the plan of salvation, please contact Pastor Johnson. The telephone number is forthcoming, but his email address is Pastor@lwcoh.org. 1. I AM A CREATION OF GOD
