Ministry has a three-fold purpose. That purpose is:
1. To glorify God
2. To serve others
3. Helping individuals to reach their full spiritual potential
After salvation, the believers' number one priority is to become conformed into the image of Jesus Christ (Rm. 8:29). This priority speaks to the importance of Christian character. The job of ministry is to make people better. Lastly, ministry must be focused on the awesome task of empowering people to develop a strong and committed life to Christ.
